Feb 2009

No update for awhile. I will be updating photos in the next couple of weeks. I go in spurts where I am good at doing this and then when I don't remember at all. All in all we are doing good here. I still have a job so that is a good thing. Tara still likes her job but the hours are a little screwy where she doesn't know from one day to the next what her schedule is. The boys are both doing good. Both are getting spring fever because everyday it is nice they beg to go outside. Baby and Mom are still doing good. Tara has had some problems with her calcium levels but without having a thyroid some of it is expected. April 5(or sooner) will be here before we know it. The end of March will bring us both of the boys birthdays and alumni basketball. Alumni is a time I look forward to every year and am hoping to get to play this year. I don't know how well or if I will be able to shoot at all with my right hand but we will see. I can miss shots with my left probably just as well as I did with my right.

January 2009

Jan 26- Nothing to exciting around here. We have stayed home the last couple of weekends and haven't done much of anything besides go to church and enjoy the weather. One day 55 and sunny, the next 10 degrees.

Jan 14- I took a day of vacation today since we were told last week we have to use a certain amount by Feb 6. I stayed home with Korbe as Tara took yesterday off to stay home with him as he was sick. He is much better today and seems to be getting back to normal(getting in trouble with brother). Tara had a doctor's appt today and everything is going good for her and baby boy to be. Jamison received his report card today and did very well.

Jan 8- Still recovering in the house from the Colts loss. It was back to school and work this week. Korbe couldn't wait for today to get back to school. Jamison started back on Tuesday and was also very ready to get back. Tara started her new job at the Health Department. She seems to really enjoy it and the people she is working with. I started back to work Monday. There were some cuts at work and I wish everyone who was affected the best. Also on Tuesday it marked one year since my accident. I look at life a little different since that day and appreciate the little things a little more. For that I am very blessed. I want to express my sincere thanks to all of the family and friends who were there for us and helped out during my recovery.

Jan 4- Last night was a sad night in the Official Silver Creek Colts household. The colts lost in overtime in the first round of the playoffs. I even had the family dressed up in Colts clothing and on New Years I had Staci "kiss the shoe". I wore the green shorts I wore every playoff game when they won the Super Bowl 2 long years ago. Still not enough. So sad......

Jan 2- Hope everyone had a great and safe New Year's. Ours was great. The boys stayed at home with a babysitter which to them is way better then being with mom and dad. Tara and I went out to eat with Chad and Staci at the 7 mile mini mart. It was great food and we got in and out very quickly there. After that we went to Bryan and Amanda's house and did the same type of thing we did last year at our house. Just a very small get together and close to home. I had a dd this year so it made it even more the better. You gotta love CandyLand and Chutes and Ladders!! Besides that I have been off from work since the 23rd and Tara has had to work this week so I have been home with the boys. It has been great to get to spend that time with them. It gets a little heated from time to time but still better then being at work. I got to go back to reality on Monday and go back to work and Tara starts her new job in Columbus at the Health Department.

December 2008

We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I will try to keep this updated from time to time with Family news. December has been a very busy month. Both boys have had school programs and did very well in them. Santa was very good to all of us on Christmas. I will give you a little info on each of us. It worked out this year to stay home on Christmas Eve. We went to church, came home and ate and then opened our presents. It was wonderful to be able to spend a little more time at home then most years on Christmas. On Christmas Day we went to Jason's mom and dad's and all of his siblings and their kids came over. We played a little pitch where Jason, Ronda, and Mike whooped up on Tara, Darrin, and (Ron one hand and Randy the other). On Friday we went to Monroe to Tara's parents and took the kids sledding. Jamison absolutely loved it. Korbe thought it was ok but had more fun just playing in the snow and making snow angels.

Tara- Tara has accepted a new job position in Columbus at the Health Department. Tara and Baby Boy to be are doing very good.

Jason-Jason and his brother Randy took their dad to see a Colorado Avalanche game a few weeks ago in Denver. It was pretty sweet.

Jamison-Jamison is doing very good. He really likes to spend his time playing the Wii or the Playstation 2. Mom and Dad probably added to the game addiction problem by buying him a PSP for Christmas.

Korbe-Korbe is Korbe what else can we say. Korbe loves to play farm, tell stories, and to get into trouble. Korbe's update from time to time you might notice won't change much.lol. Korbe got a DS from Mom and Dad for Christmas with a farming game so he thought that was pretty neat.

Both Korbe and Jamison are loving the Christmas Season. They both are really excited everytime they open a present and it makes mom and dad realize what it is all about.
